The Care to Learn fund can help to pay childcare and certain additional costs for parents under 20 who:
- Start a course of learning or training in a school, college or as a trainee with a work based learning provider that receives some public funding.
- Are caring for their own child(ren) - fathers are also eligible if they are the main carer.
- Live in England
- Use a registered childcare provider.

- NB. If a young person is leaving school or college this year and wants
employment or training it is essential that they register with their local
Connexions Centre after their official school leaving date.
In England the end of compulsory schooling is the last Friday in June in the
school year in which the young person is 16.
